Fees & transparency
Our fees, published in full. Right here.
Most 11+ tutors make you enquire, register or sit an assessment before they will tell you what it costs, or how many children are squeezed into a class. We don’t. Every programme, class size, assessment fee and discount is set out below, with nothing held back.

Monthly programmes
Two programmes. Every cap and fee, in the open.
Tuition is billed in 12 equal payments by Direct Debit, never a lump sum, after a pro-rata first payment by card for the part-month you join in. Class sizes are small, founder-taught and capped at eight, so there are never more than eight children in a class. Every figure below is published, not quoted ‘on request’: the monthly fee, the annual total, and what it works out at per hour of teaching.
Years 3–4
Foundations
£1,500 a year, across 12 equal payments
- Sessions
- 1 × 1.5 hr / week
- Class cap
- 8 children
- Per taught hour
- £25.64
The two-year path. Builds reading age, vocabulary, mental-maths fluency and gentle reasoning, without exam papers or pressure. The groundwork that makes Year 5 work.
Year 5
FlagshipIntensive 11+
£3,000 a year, across 12 equal payments
- Sessions
- 2 × 1.5 hr / week
- Class cap
- 8 children
- Per taught hour
- £25.64
The one-year exam push. Full GL coverage across all four strands, type-by-type reasoning drilling and timed mocks, with written-answer and independent-school technique taught in the same sessions. Streamed into Core (B1) and Higher (B2) by diagnostic.
Both programmes are charged at exactly the same hourly rate. The Intensive costs twice as much because it is twice the teaching, not because Year 5 families are easier to charge. There is no third or fourth programme to upsell you onto: Essex CSSE written-answer technique and the independent-school formats are taught inside these same sessions, weighted to the schools your child is actually sitting. Tell us the target list at the diagnostic and we build the emphasis around it; sibling discounts apply across everything.
Pay-as-you-go
Assessments & extras, priced openly.
One-off services with no subscription, useful whether or not you join a programme. Each is a fixed, published fee, and your diagnostic is money back the moment you enrol.
GL mock day
A full, timed GL-format mock under real exam conditions, two papers across all four strands, followed by a marked report on the familiar 80–140 scale, which you can read against the 104 qualifying floor and the 115–125 offer zone.

Credited to month one on enrolment
A per-strand baseline that tells us exactly where your child stands today and which set they belong in. Fully credited to your first month’s tuition the moment you enrol, so it costs nothing to start with the facts.

Sibling & referral discounts.
Loyalty and word-of-mouth should be rewarded openly, not negotiated in private. Here is exactly what comes off, and when.
Sibling discount
Applied automatically to monthly tuition when more than one child is enrolled.
Refer a family
Recommend us to another family and you both benefit, credited straight to your account.
Credits stack: a referred family that books a mock and then enrols earns you £105 in total.
No small print
Fair, flexible billing.
The terms that usually hide in a contract, stated plainly up front.
- Twelve equal monthly payments by Direct Debit, never a lump sum or a ‘term in advance’. The same amount every month, summer block included, and we publish the annual total next to it so you are never working it out yourself. Your very first payment is smaller: joining part-way through a month, you pay by card only for the sessions left in it.
- VAT-exempt, so the price you see is the price you pay.
- One month’s notice to cancel, in writing. No minimum term, no exit fee.
- 14-day cooling-off period from enrolment, no questions asked.
- Your £45 diagnostic is credited to month one when you enrol.
The progress dashboard
Progress you can see.
Every family sees a live progress dashboard: per-strand benchmark bands tracked over time against the 104 qualifying floor and the 115–125 offer zone, plus attendance and homework completion. We don’t just promise effort; we show it.
You always know exactly where your child stands, with per-strand bands, attendance and homework updated after every mock. A ‘band’ is one point on the 80–140 age-standardised benchmark scale. We report honestly; admissions outcomes always rest with the schools.
Start with a clear number and a clear picture.
Applying is free and takes no payment. Tell us about your child and we’ll review every application personally. Prefer to see where they stand first? Book a GL mock day and diagnostic. Fullwell Cross Library, Barkingside.
